Sustainable Aviation Fuels SAF

To get an overview about SAF and what it means for aviation and the life cycle greenhouse gas emissions, the US department of Energy offers information for intense understanding and to monitor the efforts done and the efforts ahead.

SAF Jet-A types (Blend according to ASTM D7566 Pathway) are coming to the market. Although the hydrocarbons are fairly similar, the difference between classic Jet-A from fossil sources and SAF types is in it’s origin. Fossil or grown cycle economy.
