At AERO 2026, taken place from 22 to 25 April, Raikhlin Aircraft Engine Developments GmbH was presenting its latest and unique development – RED A03 Hybrid Generator Units customized up to 380kW & 800VDC.
The RED A03 Hybrid Generator Units are based on the certified RED A03-003/-005 engines, redundant V12 twelve-cylinder diesel engines which are currently manufactured in several versions with take-off power ranging from 500 to 550 hp. The RED A03 Hybrid Generator Units are, of course, configured and customized in detail according to the specific customer’s requirements – downsizing to smaller electric power output down to 140kW foreseen.
