Long term RED Aircraft is also focusing on future APU business even when project and integration schedules in Commercial Aviation are much longer.
Piston engines as Integrated Combustion Engines will compete on an even level with turbine engines as fuel consumption and noise emissions are much lower. Maintainability on a broader scale together with lower maintenance cost are further clear advantages.
