It is all about moving people, two thirds of the future Advanced Air Mobility will be in those big cities. Hybridisation will extend the range and the endurance until battery technology will reach a capacity of 500Wh/kg and hydrogen fuel cells will reach 4kW/kg power density at 75% storage efficiency.
Key is increased test flying to collect sufficient data for the Authorities and to showcase that Advanced Air Mobility is happening already now – seeing is believing. Also communication is key, people need to be informed and involved on a regular base to achieve acceptance in the communities.
